Theme: Come and take part in shaping the ‘Green’ Bristol of the future. The theme of the day is the formulation of an integrated public friendly transport system in Bristol with cycle paths, walkways, trams/light rail/ultra light rail, buses…  You will be able to dream and imagine Bristol like some of the best cities in Europe: Groningen (Netherlands), Copenhagen (Denmark), Stockholm (Sweden), Frankfurt, Munich, Freiburg (Germany), Basel (Switzerland), Vienna (Austria), Barcelona (Spain), Strasbourg (France), Milan (Italy). Imagine ¼ of our streets being car free, green, safe, even edible…

Outcome: The outcome of the Café will be fed directly into Bristol City Council's Planning Department.

Address: Hamilton House, Stokes Croft, St Pauls, Bristol BS1 3QY

How to get there:  Walk, cycle (cycle parking opposite building on Stokes Croft), take the bus (no 70, 73, 75, 76, 77 stop on Stokes Croft).

Registration: Attendance fee £20 including lunch/coffee.  Concessions £10, students £8.  If you are unemployed, contact Matt Fortnam for advice.  Places are reserved on a first come first basis.  Register by sending a cheque (made payable to the University of Bristol) and a registration form to:
