Climate change is happening right now, and millions of vulnerable people in poorer countries are feeling the effects first and worst. The world's leaders have agreed that global warming must be kept below 2°C to avoid catastrophic climate change, but this requires global agreement on ambitious targets to reduce CO2 emissions.
Many believe that it is the last chance for world leaders to do this at the Copenhagen Climate Conference in December 2009 when a global plan which is equitable and ambitious must be agreed; the clock is ticking...
We need to send a message to governments to prioritise these negotiations and to push for the right deal, so join us in Bristol on 24th October 2009 as we raise our voices in the countdown to Copenhagen. Save the date, tell your mates, and log onto climatecountdown.org.uk to find out more.
DRESS CODE: Anything blue! (log onto the website to find out more...)
