Are you a community activist or do you work on community-based projects?
Do the projects encourage environmental sustainability?
Do you want to involve further sections of the community in your project? (For example, black or minority ethnic people, those on low incomes, the unemployed, older or younger people or members of different faith groups)
FREE training is being offered in Bristol on:
How to Involve ‘Hard to Reach’ Groups in Environmental Projects
The training is organised by Transition Bristol and the Federation for Community Development and Learning (FCDL), funded through Every Action Counts.
Subject to interest, we aim to offer a choice of two dates. One will be the Thursday 21st August. We have had to postpone the training that was due on Saturday 16th August and are considering Saturday 20th September. This will be confirmed week commencing 11th August: watch this space!
The course will be held in accessible venues in central Bristol. Registration will take place from 9.30am, with refreshments and the opportunity to network with others. The course will start at 10am and finish at 4pm. A vegetarian lunch will be provided.
Places are limited and subject to availability. We need a minimum of 15 and a maximum of 20 enrolled on each day to run the courses – please register a.s.a.p. to ensure your place!
