Bike maintenance workshops - Life Cycle UK

Life Cycle UK run bicycle maintenance workshops at approximately fortnightly intervals at our workshop at the Life Cycle Centre, the Park, Daventry Road, Bristol.10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. Places cost £60. 

Over a single day the workshop will explain how to make adjustments and fix simple problems. The course is friendly and informal and deliberately avoids the technical jargon that so many people find intimidating.

The workshop is aimed at people with little or no mechanical knowledge.  It's  fun and informative. You'll learn a bicycle works, how to set it up for maximum comfort, how to fix a flat tyre, adjust brakes for maximum effectiveness and keep your gears changing smoothly and accurately.

The fee includes all spare parts (brake blocks, cables, etc.) and use of tools and a professional workstand.  Plus! all participants will receive a free copy of Bike Easy: Top Tips and Expert Advice for the New Cyclist (usual price £6.50)
