Sustainability Trainee - Sustainable Construction Services

Description: 

Sustainability Trainee Consultant required for new independent Bristol based sustainable construction consultancy. This is an excellent opportunity to join this expanding company. You would be working with a number of new and existing construction developments for a wide range of public and private clients.
 
This will be a varied role with work including:
Sustainability strategies, energy strategies and building appraisals for projects throughout the construction life cycle such as Energy Performance Certificates, Code for Sustainable Homes assessments, BREEAM appraisals and general sustainability consultancy.
 
Interfacing with Project Managers, Master planners, Designers, M&E and Building Services engineers, understanding and advising on sustainability issues as well as government based environmental legislation. Eg BREEAM, EPC, Code for Sustainable Homes

Possess good knowledge of environmental strategies
Understanding of the construction process
Good IT skills

Customer focused

Confident communicator

Self motivated

Flexibility

Willingness to travel to meetings outside Bristol

If Possible:

Recent experience within the construction sector
Experience or training in BREEAM/Code for Sustainable Homes/EPC

 

In addition a valid UK Driving License is required.
